WHAT’S NEW AT CAMP
CAMP HIGHLIGHTS CLEVER CLUBS
During their first week of camp, campers will join a Clever Club. Each club will focus on one of our five STEAM elements. Clubs will work together over the course of the summer to plan, research, create, and present a special project that will be a part of our camp science fair Week 11. Parents will also have the opportunity to learn a few of this skills your campers are building during family nights!
NEW AND IMPROVED ELECTIVES
It’s all about camper choice at STEAM CAMP. We believe that it is important for our campers to choose activities and skills that they want to develop during their time at camp. Some of elective centers include pottery, computer coding, and builder’s workshop, During elective periods, campers will work towards ranks.
DEVOTION AND HUDDLE TIME
Relationships are a key piece of what make summer camp unforgettable. Campers will be split into 4 age groups: pre-kindergarten; first-second grade; third-fourth grade; fifth grade– middle school. At the end of each day, campers and counselors will have a chance to reflect on the day with specific questions that revolve around character development. Our counselors will incorporate a daily devotion, and y-chats, that challenge our campers to become strong leaders and good citizens.
