Stowe Family YMCA – Camp Ohana

Camp, like many Y programs, is about learning skills, developing character and making friends. But few environments are as special as camp, where kids become a community as they learn both how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group as they engage in physical, social and educational activities. CAMP OHANA: TRADITIONAL DAY CAMP

KinderCamp (age 3—rising K) 

A focus on fun AND education. Our goal is to help prepare our KinderCampers for school by reinforcing the value of educational fun! Each week will include elements of language, science, technology, the arts, and more! All KinderCampers receive free swim lessons!

  • COST: Member $122, Program Participant $151

 

Traditional Day Camp (rising 1st—5th)

This camp focuses on character development, leadership, skill building, relationships and learning. Campers will be divided into small groups based on rising grade—Quest (1st-2nd), Adventure (3rd-4th) and Pursuit (5th). Campers swim and go on weekly field trips.

Leader’s In Training (rising 6th-8th)

Teen Camp combines the fun of traditional camp with leadership and service learning.  Teens will travel away from the Y three times weekly.

CILTS (rising 9th –10th)

The Counselors In Leadership Training camp is designed to incorporate leadership opportunities, hands on learning, and job-skills training to teens interested in working with children. This weekly camp is also a lot of fun!

These teens must participate in an interview with the Director prior to the program start date.
