Cherryville YMCA Location

Afterschool Counselor – Under the Supervision of the Site Director and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the Afterschool Counselor will be responsible for the supervision, behavior management and programming of the participants in the Afterschool Program. Warlick Family YMCA Location

 

 

Play Center and Adventure Zone Staff – 
Under the Supervision of the Coordinator and Director and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, this position will be responsible for the supervision, behavior management and programming of the participants in the Play Center and Adventure Zone at the Warlick Family YMCA. Afterschool Counselor – 
Under the Supervision of the Site Director and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the Afterschool Counselor will be responsible for the supervision, behavior management and programming of the participants in the Afterschool Program. Afterschool Site Coordinator- Under the Supervision of the Program Director and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the Afterschool Site Director will be responsible for the supervision, behavior management and programming of the participants in the Afterschool Program. Program Bus Driver – Under the direction of the Afterschool Director, or his/her designate, and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA and in cooperation with other YMCA staff, the Afterschool Bus driver will be directly responsible for the safety and supervision of participants while being transported on a 60-72 passenger Gaston County Family YMCA bus. Must have a valid CDL license.

Program Bus Driver – NON CDL – Under the direction of the Afterschool Director, or his/her designate, and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA and in cooperation with other YMCA staff, the mini Bus driver will be directly responsible for the safety and supervision of participants while being transported on a 14 passenger Gaston County Family YMCA bus. Lifeguard – Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, and in accordance with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of the facility patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies. Send resumes or completed applications to Candace Hyde at  chyde@gastonymca.org

Swim Instructor – Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, and in accordance with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the swim instructor teaches lessons in accordance with American Red Cross or YMCA guidelines. Send resumes or completed applications to Candace Hyde at  chyde@gastonymca.org

Wellness Coach – Under the supervision of the Wellness Director, and in accordance with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the Wellness Coach educates and instructors members on proper technique, builds relationships, enforces fitness center rules, etc. Wellness backgroud or certification preferred. Stowe Family YMCA Location

Cycle Instructor – Under the supervision of the Wellness Director, and in accordance with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the cycle instructor teaches classes that follow cycle instructor certification guidelines and YMCA guidelines. Pharr Family YMCA Location
