CURRENT & UPCOMING PROGRAMS

Summer Camp Chi-Rho

Say Hello to Summer!

Camping, like many Y programs, is about learning skills, developing character and making friends. But few environments are as special as camp, where kids become a community as they learn both how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group as they engage in physical, social and educational activities.

The Gaston County Family YMCA offers five camp locations throughout the county during the 10-week summer following the Gaston County Schools calendar.

The 5K is open to walkers and runners alike. We will not have an awards division for walkers.

Headphones are allowed, but please be aware and cautious of your surroundings. We try to lessen as much traffic as possible, but realize we cannot close off traffic 100 percent. Download the brochure for course directions.

My family wants to volunteer. How can they?

Please have them contact Jyma Atwell at jatwell@gastonymca.org  or (704) 445-9622. Volunteers will a receive t-shirt, snacks, and lots of love from the YMCA.

Who made this all possible?

We had some incredible sponsors to make this race possible. They are listed above and on the brochure, and will be on the back of your shirt.  More sponsors may be added- if you would like to sponsor- give Jyma a call or email!
