Cherryville Family YMCA
YMCA sports programs emphasize family involvement, team building, individual development, healthy competition over winning at any cost, and developing the values of respect, responsibility, caring, honesty, faith and fun over shaping the next superstar. YMCA sports programs are open to all, regardless of ability or disability. Financial assistance is available to those in need.
The Cherryville YMCA will be hosting Spring Soccer and Flag Football, Summer Swim Club, and Fall Soccer and Flag Football! Check out the schedule and additional information by clicking here.
The YMCA Swim Club swimming program is designed for swimmers who are ready for the next level of swimming. With a focus on all four strokes with technique and drills, workouts will be designed to help your child become a proficient, stronger swimmer. Along with swimming, there will be an emphasis on healthy living, youth development, character building, leadership and good sportsmanship. View the Summer Program Guide online!

BEST SUMMER EVER!
Camping, like many Y programs, is about learning skills, developing character and making friends. But few environments are as special as camp, where kids become a community as they learn both how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group as they engage in physical, social and educational activities.
The Gaston County Family YMCA offers four camp locations throughout the county during the 10-week summer following the Gaston County Schools calendar.
