Youth and Teen Bootcamp
The Stowe YMCA host the teens and pre-teens of the area to meet new friends, connect with teammates, find fun and motivation to get in shape and feel better during Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions.
Ages: 8 – 14
Days & Time: Tuesday and Thursday 6:30 – 7:30 pm

Group Fitness Classes
Ages: 12+ (16 for Les Mills classes)
Group exercise classes are a variety of classes designed to help members achieve wellness in a group setting using various training methods.

Wellness Appointments
Ages: 16+
Adult fitness orientations are 1 on 1 fitness instruction to adult YMCA members that included weight room and cardio instruction and exercise safety. Each member receives a complimentary workout card to help track their workouts.
Dates & Times: 3 one hour scheduled appointments with a YMCA fitness instructor anytime the facility is open and the appointment is available.
Cost: Free to all members
Youth Wellness Appointments
Ages: 9 – 15
Youth fitness orientations are 1 on 1 fitness instruction to youth age 9-15 that include weight room, cardio room equipment usage instruction and safety information. The program is intended to introduce youth to exercise in a safe and supervised environment. After completion of the program the youth can use the cardio and/or the weight room with the supervision of a parent or guardian.
Dates & Times: 1 hour scheduled appointments with YMCA fitness staff anytime they are available within the normal operating hours of the Y.
Cost: $20 for 3 one hour sessions (members only).
Sports Specific Personal Training
Ages: 5 – 18
Sports specific personal training is group training for youth age 5 to 18 and is focused on increasing proficiency in general athletic ability and sport specific skills in a variety of sports including football, basketball, baseball, etc. depending on the class. The classes also teach youth about sound nutrition, athletic safety, and provide character development to the youth as well.
Offered to YMCA members and program participates and must have a minimum of 4 participates and a maximum of 10 in order to have the sessions.
Dates & Times: Anytime the facility is open and is offered year around. Training times are based on client needs and trainer availability. Classes are 6 to 8 weeks in length depending on specific class.

Personal Training
Personal Training (Private)
Ages: 12+
Private personal training is 1 on 1 fitness training with a nationally certified YMCA personal trainer. The trainer trains the client using strength training, cardio training, and nutritional counseling and monitoring. Sessions are 1 hour in length and can be purchased in 1, 5, 10, 15, and 30 session packages.
Dates & Times: Anytime the facility is open and is offered year around. Training times are based on client needs and trainer availability.

Personal Training (Semi-Private)
Ages: 12+
Semi-private personal training is 2 clients working with 1 nationally certified YMCA personal trainer. The trainer trains the clients using strength training, cardio training, and nutritional counseling and monitoring. Sessions are 1 hour in length and can be purchased in 1, 5, 10, and 15 session packages. The sessions are cheaper for the individual clients and gives additional motivation and accountability of “partner or buddy training”.
Dates & Times: Anytime the facility is open and is offered year around. Training times are based on client needs and trainer availability.

Personal Training (Small Group Classes)
Ages: 12+
A group personal training class is personal training in a small group setting. The session length is determined by the class specifics and what it dictates the length to be in order for the clients to achieve their goals. Classes are created based on specific branch need and want and trainer experience and availability.
Offered to YMCA members only and must have a minimum of 4 participates and a maximum of 10 in order to have the sessions.
Dates & Times: Anytime the facility is open and is offered year around. Training times are based on client needs and trainer availability. Classes are 4 to 8 weeks in length depending on specific class.
Cost:
Sessions – $10 per session per client and must be paid in full prior to start of class sessions. For example, if the class meets 2x per week for 4 weeks the total cost to the member is $80 and this must be paid prior to the start of the 4 week program.
