The Father/Child relationship is nutured throughout this special program! Below will give you a taste of the fun that they have together!

Y-Princess

February 16th the YMCA hosted a Father/daughter tea at Chantilly's Tea room in Gastonia! What a fun afternoon sipping tea!

Not only did the 21 in attendance have time to eat with friends but we all learned about manners and how to set the table!

Y-Guides

February 24th the YMCA hosted the first Pinewood Derby in years! Our race tracks were donated by a Y-Princess Tribe in 1977 and there were good as new for the races in 2008!

This race hosted 9 Y Guides racers - each car crafted with their father! Awards were given for the Race and also the Design Contest.

What a great Sunday event!
