The dance is a partner dance where the leader and partner face and embrace one another. While you do not have to bring a partner, generally the male leads his partner in a series of steps or moves consisting of spins, turns and dips all the time maintaining the Cha-Cha-Cha beat to the music. Urban Ballroom also incorporates other dances, such as Salsa, Foxtrot, Rumba and Tango steps.
