Teen Weightlifting Club

The Teen Weightlifting Club is designed for youths and teens, both male and female, to learn and participate in the sport of weightlifting. The sport of Weightlifting is contested along gender, age, and weight classes. This allows for anyone, of any age, and experience to participate. Program design and instruction can be utilized as a stand-alone program or in conjunction with an athlete’s other athletic training regimen. Focus will be on proper technique, Strength building and powerlifting. The Club will meet twice per week. During this time, overall fitness level will be measured and 1RM will be established in Bench Press, Squats and Dead Lift.

SESSION DATES AND TIMES
Club begins August 1 – December 31, 2022

Club meets Monday and Wednesdays
6:30 – 7:15pm.

13-17 years

FREE BUT REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
Weightlifting club is FREE to YMCA Members but we do require that you register for the club.
