General Information
Afterschool Care operates from the time school is dismissed until 6:00 PM, including all day care during Teacher Work Days.
Pick Up Sites = Students at these sites are picked up and travel to a Gaston Family YMCA Branch.
School Based Sites = Students remain at these sites with YMCA staff and programs.

Other value added activities
Take advantage fun and challenging afterschool program such as Gymnastics and Swim Lessons. Registration for these programs are ongoing and open to all Y members or Non-members.

Program Times: School dismissal until 6:00 pm.
Weekly Fee:
School based sites – $45 per week members, $65 non members
YMCA based sites – $55 per week members, $75 non members
35% off for Children of full time Gaston County Schools employees.
Financial Assistance: At each Afterschool Site spaces will be set aside specifically for students in need of Financial Assistance. These spaces are limited and will fill. Early registration is highly suggested. DSS Vouchers are accepted at several YMCA Afterschool sites.
