Fall Soccer

Join the Gaston County Family YMCA for Youth Fall Soccer! This recreational league
teaches fundamentals while learning to appreciate soccer and refine physical skills! We
focus on family involvement, team building, confidence, and developing our core values

Ages: 3 years old – Middle School
Registration: August 1st – September 7th
Practice: Once a week starting the week of September 13th. Practice will be held
on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings between 5 – 7pm.
Games: The six game season is from September 25th – November 5th. Games will be
played on Saturday mornings.
Costs: $45 for Members, $65 for Non-members

Labor Day 5K & one Mile Fun Run

Gather your friends, family and co-workers  and join us on Labor Day at Lineberger Park for our Eighth Annual Labor Day 5K and Cancer Awareness Walk. The race starts at 8:00am with a one mile fun run starting at 8:45am. The fun run is not timed. An awards and survivor recognition ceremony will then follow.  Registration Information.

The Gaston County Family YMCA Run Club has organized several runs around the county that you are invited to join.  We will be adding additional runs, running maps, running information and race information very soon so keep checking back with us. New Gymnastics Program @ Pharr Family YMCA
Class offers age appropriate skills in tumbling, floor exercise, bars, and beam in a fun and non-competitive atmosphere. Lead Instructor – Colleen Briggs (formerly of Gymnastics World)! Financial Assistance is available to assure that everyones belongs at the YMCA. Online Registration is not available for this program.
