Through public support and contributions to the Gaston County Family YMCA and its branches, we are able to provide access to quality programs and services to everyone regardless of ability, gender, age, or socio-economic status. We thrive on serving as many people in the community as possible, but cannot do so without your help. Every day nearly 100 programs and services help shape our neighborhoods, but the call for assistance keeps growing.
In 2010, through the We Build People campaign, the Gaston County Family YMCA provided over $215,500 in financial assistance to over 5800 participants, which included youth, adults, seniors and families throughout our community
Due to the generosity of our donors, the Y turned no one who qualified for financial assistance away due to an inability to pay. Through giving, you can make an immediate life-altering impact on the lives of many people in our community.
