The McGill Family YMCA opened its doors in 2000 to serve eastern Gaston County. This facility is located just off I-85 and offers programs for all classes and ages.

McGill Construction Updates:
As we continue making exciting improvements to our facility, we want to keep you informed of a few upcoming changes:
- Indoor Pool: CLOSED April 26 – May 31. All aquatic programs and lap swimming have moved to the Outdoor Water Park.
- Outdoor Pool: Opens April 26! Click here for the full schedule and rules.
- Elevator: Out of service starting Monday, April 6, until further notice.
- Outdoor Ramp: Nearing completion and will open soon.

Saturday: 7:00am – 6:00pm

CHILDWATCH
Childwatch (Ages 6 weeks to 6 years):
Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–12:00pm & 4:00pm–8:00pm
Friday: 8:00am–12:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am–12:00pm
Sunday: Closed
Adventure Zone (Ages 6 to 11 years)
Monday–Thursday: 4:00pm–8:00pm
Friday: CLOSED
Saturday: 8:00am–12:00pm
Sunday: CLOSED
Socks Required:
Socks are required inside all Childwatch rooms. If you forget a pair, socks will be available for purchase at the Childwatch desk.
Hours are subject to change based on staffing.
INDOOR POOL
CLOSED APRIL 26 – MAY 31
The indoor pool is currently closed for tile replacement and fire sprinkler upgrades. All swim programming has moved to the Outdoor Water Park.

Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays:
Gaston County Family YMCA members only.
Guests and Nationwide members are not permitted on weekends or holidays.
